The Okaloosa County Republican Executive Committee is pleased to announce Florida Speaker of the House, Richard Corcoran as our 2018 keynote speaker, along with Featured Guest, Representative Matt Gaetz!!

Dinner tickets are $100 (before taxes & fees). A limited amount of VIP tickets are available for $150.00 (before taxes & fees) which include a private reception prior to the dinner with Speaker Corcoran and Representative Gaetz. The price of the dinner is not included in the VIP ticket; they are two separate tickets. The Lincoln-Reagan dinner will feature live and silent auctions and there will also be opportunities to meet your local and state candidates for the various races.

About our Keynote Speaker:
Richard Corcoran is the Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives.
Richard was born in 1965 to two World War II Veterans. His father was an American soldier who grew up in orphanages during the Great Depression. His mother, born a British citizen, served in the Women’s Auxiliary Air Force (WAAF) in London during the blitz.
Corcoran grew up in Pasco County where he graduated from Hudson High School & St. Leo University. While finishing his studies, Corcoran had the honor of serving six years in the United States Naval Reserves.
One of five children himself, Corcoran is a family man with six children. He met his wife Anne in law school at Regent University, where he received his Juris Doctor in 1996. They have been married over 20 years and have practiced law together. Today, Richard is of counsel with the Broad and Cassel law firm in Tampa.
Anne now spends most of her time volunteering at Classical Preparatory School, a public charter school in Spring Hill that she founded as a labor of love. They live in Land O’ Lakes with their children: Kate, Jack, Luke, Caroline, William Major, and Evangeline.

About our Featured Speaker:
Matt Gaetz is a member of the 115th Congress and serves on the Budget, Armed Services, and Judiciary Committees. His work in Congress focuses on national security, tax reform, regulatory reform and adherence to constitutional principles.

Prior to serving in Congress, Matt represented portions of Okaloosa and Santa Rosa counties in the Florida House of Representatives, beginning in 2010. He was chairman of the Finance & Tax Committee, using this position to author and pass $1 Billion in tax cuts while balancing the state budget and repealing or replacing over 4,000 regulations. Matt also served as chairman of the criminal justice subcommittee where he authored and passed the toughest penalties in America against violent sexual predators while making it easier for Florida patients to receive medical cannabis.

Matt is active in Northwest Florida as an attorney with the Keefe, Anchors & Gordon law firm where he advocates for more open and transparent government. He is the son of Don and Vicky Gaetz and is a graduate of Bluewater Elementary, Ruckel Middle School and Niceville High School. He holds degrees from Florida State University and the William & Mary College of Law.

Matt is a Lifetime Member of the National Rifle Association and is a member of First Baptist Church in Fort Walton Beach.
